Other Stuff You Wanna Know

As a theater student and musician, I embarked on a career in voiceover in 2019. I majored in English in college and did a graduate degree in theater where I wrote, directed and acted in and plays, so it was a natural fit.
After doing a few commercials and corporate videos, I realized my real love was for audiobooks. I can be found listening to them whenever I’m not working. I’m endlessly fascinated with my fellow humans, and I really dig a well-written story. The fact that I get to narrate books and that I can inhabit these characters is amazing. I gravitate to general fiction, historical fiction, thrillers and romance, but I’m open to many genres. I love learning and have taken many classes and workshops in acting, audiobook narration, and voiceover (see next section for deets).
Before becoming a voice actor, I produced continuing educational videos for medical professionals. I also worked for seven years as a writer and editor of educational materials for college-bound students. I’ve taught guitar and piano and am a choir director. Where I live, it’s easy to be in my cozy studio for long stretches of the day, but when I need a break I can walk in the forest or hang out with our many chickens and cats.
